Heritage Grange at Thurston, Hotel - Bury Saint Edmunds

Heritage Grange at Thurston, Hotel, an attractive Tudor-style country house hotel, lies in Thurston in the heart of Suffolk. The hotel isin its own secluded gardens amidst open countryside.

Guests can dine in the restaurant, which offers a la carte delicious fresh food, catering fordietary requirements such as gluten free and dairy free or, as an alternative, enjoy the bar lounge meals.

The lounge bar opens onto the terrace and garden and offers local beers, spirits and wines. Guests can relax in the seating area in the lounge.

Under the current circumstances, we are offering a bed and breakfast service on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hence the bar and restaurant will be closed on those days. The bar will remain open on a Saturday subject to demand until 9.30pm. Restaurant is open Monday to Thursday for dinner from 18.30 - 20.30, subject to demand.

The restaurant and bar is still open on Monday – Thursday and Saturday evenings.

The restaurant is open for breakfast on a daily basis.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

A pre-authorisation with a physical card will be required upon arrival. Please bring a physical card that has funds on the card together with identification. Any guest who is unable to provide authorisation or a card that declines will be refused accommodation.

Guests can bring their own cot at no extra cost. Please note that pets are not allowed in the public areas of the property. Pets are charged for 15 GBP per pet per night up to a maximum of 3 nights if guests stay longer than 3 nights.

There is no lift in the property.

Guests staying in "Budget Double Room" may experience noise until midnight.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note thatSpecial Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Single Room Annex. This single room features an electric kettle. The room is accessed via a steep external staircase. Please note the room is above the banquet suite and will experience heavy noise till midnight on functions days. "Not ideal for elder person or single ladies" ;
Double Room. This double room features an electric kettle. Please note one of the double rooms is above the banquet suite and will experience heavy noise till midnight on functions days. ;
Family Room. This family room has two double beds and an electric kettle. ;
Log Cabin. Log cabin with an en-suite bathroom, a sofa and an arm chair. It has its own balcony with seating area. It also has views overlooking the main hotel and gardens. This room does not have WiFi but WiFi is available in public areas in the main building. ;
Suite. This is the largest room type and has a seating area with sofas, a TV and an electric kettle. ;
Large Double Room with Garden View. Features include a TV and tea and coffee making facilities. ;
Junior Suite with Double Bed. Suite with a bedroom and a separate livnig area. ;
Small Double Room. Small double rooms have smaller shower units and an electric kettle. One of the small double rooms has a sloped ceiling and may not be suitable for tall guests. Please note the room is above the banquet suite and will experience heavy noise till midnight on functions days. ;
Double Room Annexe. Accessed by an external staircase, this room has an electric kettle. Not suitable for guests with mobility issues. Please note the room is above the banquet suite and will experience heavy noise till midnight on functions days. ;
Log Cabin Accessible Twin Room. This log cabin can has disabled access, a balcony, an electric kettle and air conditioning. There is a view overlooking the main hotel and gardens. This room does not have WiFi but WiFi is available in public areas in the main building. ;
Junior Suite Double with Garden View. This room has a seating area and can be setup with a double bed or 2 single beds. Please advise the property of your bed reference. ;
