Loch Insh Chalets and Apartments - Kincraig

In the western region of the Cairngorms National Park, Loch Insh Chalets provide well-appointed accommodation at the Loch Insh Outdoor Centre. The centre offers a wide range of sports, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi in most accommodation types. Ski and snowboarding lessons can be arranged throughout the winter.

Chalets of various sizes are available, and many have lake or mountain views. Each has a flat-screen TV with DVD player, and full kitchen facilities including a dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettle and fridge. Bedrooms are complemented by a bathroom with bath or shower.

The Boathouse Restaurant has stunning views of the Spey Valley, and breakfast is served here each morning. The Quarter Deck bar looks out over the loch and dry ski-slope and offers coffee and homemade scones as well as beers, wines and spirits.

Windsurfing, sailing and kayaking are among the water-sports offered on site. You can also enjoy walking, mountain-biking, archery, fishing, skiing and snowboarding.

The Loch Insh Chalets lie around 10 miles from Aviemore, and are around 1 hour’s drive from Pitlochry. The city of Inverness is 40 miles north of the site.

The hotel day starts from hour 16:00 and ends at 10:00.

Please note that only some properties are pet friendly for an additional fee of GBP 25 per dog. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed. Please refer to the individual room descriptions to find out which properties allow dogs.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Chalet (Sleeps 5) (without Hot Tub). Cardhu - This chalet has a bathroom, kitchen and lounge with TV and DVD player. It has a double bed and twin bedroom and an extra bed on a balcony sleeping loft, suitable for children over 8. Pets are not allowed in this chalet. ;
Chalet (Sleeps 6) (without Hot Tub). Macallan - This chalet has a bathroom, kitchen and lounge with a log burning stove, TV and DVD player. It has a small porch and veranda and the large picture window in the living area overlooks Loch Insh. This chalet is pet friendly. ;
Chalet (Sleeps 7) (without Hot Tub). Tormore - This chalet has a bathroom, kitchen and lounge with TV and DVD player. This chalet is specially adapted for wheelchair users and has ramp access to the jetty for fishing and boating. This chalet is pet friendly. ;
Chalet (Sleeps 8) - Disability Access with Hot Tub. Knockando - This chalet sleeps 8 in a double, a twin, a bunk room and a twin on a balcony bedroom. It has a full kitchen and lounge with TV and DVD player. It has 2 shower and toilet rooms with underfloor heating, a small drying room and a tiled entry porch. This chalet also has a hot tub. Chalet with Mountain View (without Hot Tub). Glentromie - This chalet has a bathroom, kitchen and lounge with TV and DVD player. It has 1 king-size bedroom and 1 twin room, and a small paved and grass area with picnic table and barbecue. This chalet is pet friendly. ;
Chalet - Disability Access (without Hot Tub). Drumguish chalet has been designed to be fully accessible by wheelchair users, including the kitchen with lower worktop and under-counter space. It has a bathroom, kitchen, lounge with TV and DVD player, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a loft sleeping platform for 2 children. This chalet is pet friendly. ;
Luxury Chalet with Hot Tub. Glenlivet - This chalet is detached and overlooks the loch. There is one king-size bedroom and one twin bedroom. This chalet boasts a hot tub and a log burner. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with a TV with Sky channels and a DVD player. A gas barbecue is available on request. This chalet is pet friendly. ;
Three-Bedroom Chalet (without Hot Tub). Tamnavulin - This chalet has a bathroom, kitchen and lounge, a TV and DVD player. It has a small porch and veranda and the large picture window in the living area overlooks Loch Insh. The chalet has one double bedroom, a bedroom with twin beds and bedroom with bunk beds. Pets are not allowed in this chalet. ;
Chalet (without Hot Tub). Cragganmore - This chalet has a bathroom, kitchen, lounge, log burning stove, TV and DVD player. It has a double and twin bedroom and an extra bed on a balcony sleeping loft, suitable for children over 8. This property is pet friendly. ;
Superior Chalet with Hot Tub. Glenfiddich - This detached chalet has one double bedroom with top quality double bed. Fully furnished to a high standard with flat-screen TV and DVD Player. The modern fitted kitchen is equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave and fridgefreezer. The shower room has a walk-in shower with underfloor heating. Towels and bedding are provided. Hot tub situated just outside the chalet. Electric heating and log burning stove ensure that you are warm at any time of year. This chalet is pet friendly. ;
Two-Bedroom Apartment (Pets not allowed) (without Hot Tub). Feshie Apartment - This apartment overlooks the forest and has a log burning stove. Built on two floors, large windows run along the Southeast facing wall of the living area out towards the forest. The bedrooms are dividedone single en-suite bedroom downstairs and a large family room upstairs with twin beds, a bunk bed and adjoining en-suite shower room. The apartment is fully furnished with TV, DVD and video. The modern fitted kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave fridgefreezer and dish washer. Central heating throughout. A charge for logs for the burning stove will apply. Parking is also available nearby. Dogs are not permitted in the apartments ;
Two-Bedroom Apartment (Pets not allowed) (without Hot Tub). Spey Apartment - Offering views of the Loch, this 5 person apartment provides self catering services and a log burning stove. The sleeping quarters are splita main bedroom with single bed, bunk bed and ensuite facilities. The second bedroom has a single bed with an ensuite shower room. The apartment is fully furnished with TV, DVD and video for your entertainment and the kitchen is fully equipped with electric hob and oven, microwave fridgefreezer and dish washer. There is central heating throughout with no electricity charge but a charge for extra logs for the log burner will apply. Pets are not allowed in this apartment. ;
