The Bahamas - Torquay

Situated in the heart of Torquay in Devon, this family-run guest house offers a friendly, relaxed and informal atmosphere for couples, families and the business traveller.

The Bahamas Hotel offers high-quality guest accommodation on a bed-and-breakfast basis, with ample free parking forhotel guests.

The guest house has a great location, just a short, level walk from Torquay’s main beach and promenade. A further 10-minute walk along the promenade will bring you to the marina and the main shopping area. Closer still are the recently restored Torre Abbey and the English Riviera Centre, with its conference, sporting and leisure pool facilities.

As part of a process of continuous improvement, The Bahamas has recently refurbished some bedrooms, whichinclude a work desk, teacoffee facilities and a private bathroom.

The hotel day starts from hour 16:00 and ends at 10:00.

Please note that a non-refundable deposit will be taken upon booking to confirm the reservation. The deposit amount depends on the number of nights booked.

All bedrooms are non-smoking. Smoking is only permitted on the sun terrace.

Group bookings, including all-male parties will not be accepted. Any such bookings will be cancelled.

Children are only allowed in Family Room and they must be between ages 8 to 16 years.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

Triple Room. It is designed for 2 adults and 1 child between 8 and 14 years old, although it may also be used as a double or twin room. Room is not suitable for 3 adults. ;
Single Room. Features include a TV and an en suite bathroom with free toiletries. ;
Double Room with Private Bathroom. Features include a TV and an en suite bathroom with free toiletries. ;
Superior Double Room. This most spacious and modern room comes with a super king-size bed and includes a 32-inch LCD TV, sofa, coffee table and tub chairs. One room is available as a twin room upon request. Please Request doubletwin when booking.
